Building a Volunteer Team for Children Ministry

All Christians have God-given abilities, skills, passions, and gifts that God desires us to use to build up the body of Christ and to glorify God.

“If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; it if is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.” -Romans 12:7-8

Whether you serve in front of crowds or complete your duties with no one else around, God has a place where he wants you to serve in our children’s ministry. He has built the church so that others also have places to serve as well. You can play an instrumental role in kids and parents finding their way to God. In our ChilĀ­dren’s Ministry, we realize that in the race to a child’s heart, the first one there wins and we want to get there first with Jesus’ love. Its small group leader and helper that God uses to make and impact these children. When a child comes to know that someone cares about them and takes a personal interest in them, it makes all the difference in the world. When you serve as a group leader or helper, you help kids grow in their faith and become lifelong followers of Jesus. How would you like to leave that kind of legacy?
