New Sunday School classes begin on November 1st! We will have a ‘Mixer Sunday’ celebration for all
kids, Preschool thru High School in the Youth room downstairs. Kids will be introduced to their new classes and this will take the place of Promotion Sunday. Effective 11/1 , the new class breakdown will be as follows:
Effective November 1st, we will also be changing the classes that are offered during
the 10:45 service as follows : Nursery (NB-17 months), Toddler Room (18 months – 4 yrs),
Bible Builders (K-2nd), God Squad (3rd-6th) .
God Squad AND Bible Builders will join us in the Sanctuary at the beginning of the service for our praise and worship. Children in all of these classes will need to be signed in and out. If your child is in Bible Builders or God Squad and attends Sunday School, you will sign them in to Sunday School and their teacher will bring them to the sanctuary. You will only need to sign them out after service. If your child is in one of these groups and does not attend Sunday School, there will be a sign-in sheet for you to use in the Narthex. You can sign them in there and take them straight to the Sanctuary. The sheet will be in the classroom for you to sign them out at the end of service.
**Please remember that you are always welcome to have your children of any age stay with you in the Sanctuary.**
‘Come to Bethlehem and See’ … The children will be learning and presenting this
Christmas program for God’s Glory and your enjoyment! Rehearsals will be held in Sunday
School classes during the month of November. There will be two performances – one during
the combined service on November 29th and at the Christmas Dinner on the evening
of December 6th. All children who are participating will be asked to come during the Sunday
School hour on November 29th for a final group rehearsal.
Michelle Stillion has started a Bible Study for recent high school graduates. They are
meeting at the Daily Grind Cafe every Thursday morning from 7:45-8:30. Students who
are away at college are able to participate via Skype. In addition to discussing issues that
are facing young adults today from a Christian perspective, they are reading the ‘Jesus is
Calling’ devotional together . Please contact Michelle if you or someone you know would
like to participate in this study.
More information will be coming home to parents and volunteers, but feel free to
contact Amy at anytime with questions or concerns about any of our Children’s Programs.
We are always in need of volunteers, so please speak up if you are willing to help in any
way. Amy can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone at
