Kathy and Don Gibson are traveling again and would love to have you join us in our travels! Through Warther Tours, Kathy has designed a new 3 day, 2 night tour called Inspiration. We’ll travel by motor coach to Lancaster, PA to see “Jesus” at the Sight and Sound Theater. If you haven’t had an opportunity to see the play, it is extraordinary! The theater’s new 320 foot LED screen brings the Sea of Galilee and other scenery to life while enjoying a professional cast, beautiful costumes and original music depicting many scenes in Jesus’ life. This play will be closing this fall, so now is your chance to see it. After a good nights rest, we’ll board our motor coach and go to Washington D.C. to explore the new Museum of the Bible. This 430,000 sq.ft. world class museum, just a few blocks from the Capital, is a technological marvel. Many displays, artifacts, recreated Biblical towns and theaters will bring the Bible to life without going overseas! The trip also includes an Illumination Tour of the Monuments in Washington, 2 wonderful dinners, and we’ll stop at Quecreek, the site of the first successful deep mine rescue on the way home. You will be truly inspired during this trip. There are two dates to choose from, August 8 – 10 and August 29 – 31. Several of our Broadway members have already signed up for the Aug. 8-10 trip, so why not fill the bus with Broadway folks! More information is available on flyers in the office, or call Kathy at 330-340-9573. We are also taking 2 trips in September to The Creation Museum and the Ark, called the Tour of Biblical Proportions. This is a great 2 day, 1 night trip that explores these two wonderful Bible museums created by Answers in Genesis. You will have a new perspective of Creation, Adam and Eve, the Flood, and why Jesus had to die for our sins. The Ark Encounter is the largest timber frame structure in the world! No matter how large you think it is, it’s bigger! Just the structure itself is worth the trip, let alone the displays and explanations of how Noah and his family lived and cared for the animals during the flood. Our trip also includes a great riverboat cruise with wonderful food and a look at the skyline of Cincinnati. This trip is September 5 – 6, or September 19 – 20. Again, a flyer is in the office or call Kathy at 330-340-9573. If September isn’t a good time for you, why not try going on the Christmas Tour of Biblical Proportions! This time we’ll see all of the Christmas displays at Union Terminal in Cincinnati, including the famous Duke Energy Holiday Train display. Then we’ll go to the Christmas Town display at The Creation Museum, where we’ll have full access to the entire museum plus the beautiful lights and displays outside. We’ll see a live Nativity, meet the Wise Men and other Biblical characters to bring the Christmas story to life. Then we’ll spend the day at The Ark Encounter, and enjoy a great meal at Emzara’s buffet at the Ark before returning home. Dates for this 2 day, 1 night trip are December 5-6. Another flyer is in the office.
